Nakdong River comes into view as you walk toward the cool breeze past Gupo Station, a cruiser-like subway. The 10km-long embankment road built along the blue river forms a tunnel of cherry blossoms in spring, which attracts hundreds of visitors. A bicycle path is also laid next to the large-scale lotus colony, so you can see various aquatic plants through the cool breeze. Bicycle Trip
The 11km-long bicycle road along Hwamyeong Eco Park has been maintained for anyone to ride a bike easily and safely. The park scenery, which changes every season such as rape blossoms in spring and cosmos in autumn, presents healing in the city.
Lotus Complex
A lotus wetland built on a 24,000m2-site. During the season of lotus in summer, red and milky-white lotus flowers are in full bloom, creating a spectacular view.
In recent years, the number of people coming to see rare flowers has increased as the thorny lotus flower, an endangered species designated by the Ministry of Environment, has been restored at the aquatic observation center in the park. The endless lotus fields and refreshing scenery created by the lotus flowers are truly beautiful and breathtaking to see.
